Services for Kathryn M. Struve

Funeral services for 88 year old Kathryn M. Struve, of Omaha, will be Thursday, April 12, at the Campbell Funeral Home in Blair. Father Michael J. Tan Creti will officiate with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Kathryn Struve was born on September 29, 1895 at Blair, Nebraska. She died on April 9 at the Clarkson Hospital in Omaha. She never married and was a Traffic Controller for Northwestern Bell. She also had worked for the Blair Phone Company for a time. She retired in 1960 after 39 years in the telephone business. She lived with her sister Grace in Omaha for the past several years.

She is survived by her sisters, Mrs. Frank (Grace) Bartels of Omaha and Mrs. Clifford (Minnie) Krause of Blair. There are three nephews and two nieces who also survive her.

She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of Omaha and the All Saints Episcopal Church of Omaha.

Pallbearers are: Mike Biffar, Bill Booton, Chester Glasshof, Bud Jenny, Stu Maurer and Walt Nieman.
