Williard M. Olbrey, 79, of Neosho, Missouri, and formerly of the Decatur and Lyons areas, passed away on Saturday evening, Februray 21, 1987, at a Neosho hospital.

He was born on August 17, 1907, at Decatur to Glen H. and Ruth E. (Miller) Olbrey.

He was married to the former Theda Mae Rose on May 18, 1931, at Dakota City. Mrs. Olbrey passed away on December 31, 1985.

Olbrey lived in Miami, Oklahoma, for several years, where he was employed in the hardware business.

He was a former member of the Presbyterian Church in Lyons for many years.

Survivors include one son, Roland M. Olbrey of Lyons; one sister, Hazel Marshall of Tekamah; four grandhildren and four great-grandchildren; several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 1987, at the Hamel & Peck Funeral Chapel in Tekamah; Rev. Thomas E. Robson officiated.

Interment was in the Hillcrest Cemetery at Decatur.
