Goldie E. Cook, 67, of Arlington, died Sunday afternoon at Arbor Manor Nursing Home, 2550 N. Nye Ave.

She was born Sept. 23, 1913 at Tekamah. She lived there most of her life.

Mrs. Cook was a member of Arlington Community Church.

She married William Cook of Arlington on July 9, 1932, at Plattsmouth. He survives her.

Other relatives include two sons, Robert, of Basking Ridge, N.J.; and Raymond, of Phoenix; a daughter Mrs. Ronald (Marilyn) Peterson, of Superior; four brothers, Irvin McClanahan and Jay McClanahan, both of Omaha; Keith McClanahan of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Neil, of Fort Calhoun; a sister, Mrs. Leslie (Helen) Sauer, of Tekamah; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Arlington Community Church. The Rev. Gerald Senn will officiate. There will be visitation.

Reckmeyer Funeral Home in Arlington is in charge of arrangements.
