Olga J. Cook, 79, of Arlington, died Tuesday, December 31, 1985 at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

Mrs. Cook was born October 1, 1906, at Fremont. She was educated in the Fremont schools, and was a dental assistant to Dr. Harry S. Murphy for five years prior to her marriage.

On August 18, 1928 the former Olga Jensen was married to Curtis I. Cook in the parsonage of the Danish Evangelical Lutheran Church in Omaha.

All their married years were lived on the Cook farm near Arlington. Mr. Cook, a farmer, stockman, and lay minister in the Methodist Church, died in July of 1974. A daughter, Mrs. Walter (Yvonne) Akeson, also preceded Mrs. Clark in death in September of 1974.

Mrs. Cook was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Arlington.

Visitation was at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont on Friday, January 3, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Funeral service was Saturday, January 4, 1986 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church located north of Arlington. Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery. The Rev. Dennis M Maaske was the officiating minister.

Pallbearers were Keith Andersen, Richard Schlenker, Lloyd Vogt, Leroy Laaker, Bill Rhea, and LeRoy Dunklau.

Dennis Godemann was organist, and the church choir sang “Hark! Ten Thousand Harps and Voices”. The congregation sang “How Great Thou Art” and also “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”.

Ludvigsen Mortuary of Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
