Maggie Gertrude Cooper, a resident of the Good Shepherd Home at Blair, died there last Wednesday, November 13th. She was a native of Irvington, Nebraska, having been born there September, 6, 1887. She was 88 years of age at her death.

Mrs. Cooper had been preceded in death by her husband, Harry O. Cooper.

She is survived by three daughters and a son. The daughters are Mrs. William (Myrtie Gertrude) Rasmussen of Herman; Mrs. Carl (Nettie Mae) Bradley of LaMesa, California; Mrs. Don (Jackie) Brinley of Covina, California.

A son, Phillip Cooper, lives at Decatur, Nebraska.

There are two brothers, one living in California, the other in Oregon. There are also nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Herman Saturday morning with the Rev. Clarence Campbell conducting the service. Burial was made in the Herman Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary in Blair.

Pallbearers were Roy Pace, Keith Rasmussen, Philip Lee Cooper, Michael Cooper, Wayne Cooper and Brad Pace.
