SUVERKRUBBE SERVICES HELD IN FT. CALHOUN

William Edward Suverkrubbe was buried in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery on June 21, 1978, following services that day at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Services were also held June 18 in San Antonio, Texas, at the Brook Hill Funeral Home following his death from a heart attack in San Antonio on June 16.

William Edward Suverkrubbe was born on April 8, 1930 to Bill and Ruth Suverkrubbe. He , attended Green School District # 49 in Washington County; Fort Calhoun High School; and entered the Air Force in 1951. During his career in the Air Force he was stationed all over the United States and in Europe, Africa, South America and the Far East. He retired from the Air Force in September of 1973. Following his retirement from the Air Force he attended St. Philips College in San Antonio. He enjoyed hunting, riding a motorcycle and the outdoors.

He married Jean Hudson in December 19, 1953 at Greenwood, South Carolina. They had three children.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; two daughters, Toni and Terresa and one son, William Nathan. One grandchild, Crystal, and one sister, Mrs. Gary (Ruth Ann) Pease, also survive him.

Pallbearers were Bill E. Stratbucker, Richard Burmeister, Gene Smith, Charles Hawkins, Mylan Kruse, who attended school in Fort Calhoun with him, and Lawrence Jacobsen, who with Mylan Kruse, joined the Air Force with him.
