SERVICES FOR ANDREW SVENDGARD WERE SATURDAY

Services for Andrew G. Svendgard, 75, were held Saturday, June 15th at the Blair Methodist Church. Mr. Svendgard, of Blair, passed away on June 13th at the Clarkson Hospital in Omaha following an illness of several months.

Mr. Svendgard was manager of the Washington County Mutual Insurance Company in Blair. He had been in the farming business for many years before taking over the Insurance Company office in Blair. Mr. Svendgard was active in civic affairs and the Washington County Democratic party and various farm organizations.

The services were at 2:00 p.m. in the Blair Methodist Church with Dr. C.C. Madsen officiating and Campbell Mortuary in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Svendgard is survived by his wife, Oma Mae Svendgard, and five children and four sisters. The surviving children are: Richard of Blair; James of Mass.; Andrew Jr. of Arlington; Mrs. Betty Stoetzel of Hastings; and Judith Svendgard of California.

Surviving sisters are: Mrs. Pearl Stricklett of Blair; Mrs. Lizzie Andersen of California; Mrs. Goldie Follen of Blair; and Mrs. Odessa Brown of Arlington.

Casket Bearers were William C. Jensen, Rolland Smith, William Kob, Wayne Lambertz, Voyne Harris, and Reuben Gilbert.
