MRS. ELLA ARP DIED AT BLAIR HOSPITAL MONDAY

Mrs. Ella Arp, a native of Washington County, died Monday at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital. Mrs. Arp, who had made her home for many years at 1942 Colfax street, was 71 years of age. She was born at Orum, six miles west of Blair, on October 11, 1905 and had lived in the Blair area all of her life.

Her husband, the late Otto Arp, preceded her in death on February 4th, 1949. They had been married September 9th, 1925.

Funeral services are being held this morning (Thursday) at the First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Gordon Patterson will conduct the service.

Mrs. Arp is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Everett (Irma) Holstein of Blair and by a son, Vernon Arp of Kennard. There are 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Mrs. Harry (Martha) Madsen of Blair is a sister as well as Mrs. Harold (Ann) Rasmussen, also of Blair. Albert Kuhr, of Blair, is a brother.

Burial will be made in the Blair cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers are Alvin Arp, Willie Arp, Lyle Rogers, Ralph Madsen, David Kuhr and Fred Wild.
