HARRY SVOGERSON FUNERAL (TODAY) AUGUST 29th

Mr. Harry Svogerson, a long-time Washington County farmer, passed away at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital early Monday morning, August 26.

Harry J. Svogerson was born September 11, 1904 to Hans and Christine Svogerson on a farm near Kennard, the youngest of three children. His older brother, Alfred, preceded him in death.

Mr. Svogerson was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. He was an active member of the Kennard Emmaus Lutheran Church and also participated in a number of community affairs.

Mr. Svogerson semi-retired and moved to Blair with his sister, Alma, January 28, 1967. He transferred his membership to the Blair First Lutheran Church.

Harry is survived by his sister Alma; sister-in-law, Mrs. Amanda Svogerson of Kennard; niece, Mrs. Bernard (Christine) Thompson of Kennard; great-nephew, Mr. Alfred Thompson and his children, Patrick, and Pamela of Omaha.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at the Blair First Lutheran Church. The Rev. George Pallesen will officiate. The Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers, cousins of Mr. Svogerson, will be Harry, Carl, Elmer, Albert, Leonard and Dwayne Swanson. Burial will be at the Kennard Cemetery.
