FORMER HERMAN WOMAN DIED AT FALLS CITY, NEBR.

Della West Swegler, a native of Herman, died last Wednesday, December 10, at Falls City, Nebraska.

Mrs. Swegler was born at Herman, February 19, 1896 and was 79 years of age at the time of her death. She was a resident of the North View Care Center of Falls City.

Mrs. Swegler was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam West, early day residents of Herman. She grew to womanhood there and was married to R. H. Swegler. Two sons and a daughter were born to the couple, all of whom survive.

The sons are Allan Swegler of Falls City and Delbert Swegler of the Island of Guam in the Pacific. A daughter, Mrs. Clara Boyd, lives in Omaha. There are 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were held last Saturday at the Chaney, Hodges, Clark Mortuary Chapel. The body was taken to Blair where graveside services were held at the Blair Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
