Services were Tuesday,. February 6 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont for Shirley A. Losee, 64 of Fremont who died of respiratory failure February 3, 1990 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Rev. David Reeson officiated. Burial of the cremated remains was in Calvary Cemetery in Fremont.

Shirley Cusick was born May 19, 1925 in Fremont. She grew up there and was a 1943 graduate of Fremont Senior High School. She attended Midland Lutheran College for two years.

She lived most of her life in Fremont and taught school in Blair for some years. She also worked at St. Patrick’s grade school and set up their library.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont and the Calix Organization.

She married Robert Losee May 19, 1948 in Fremont. He preceded her in death on October 27, 1988.

She is survived by her mother, Ann Cusick of Fremont; and a daughter, Maribethy Losee of Omaha.

Memorials may be made to the church, the Arthritis Foundation, and the Diabetes Assocation.

Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
