HENRY O. ARP DIED AT BLAIR TUESDAY

Henry O. Arp, well-known Washington County farmer, died at Memorial Community Hospital at Blair Tuesday, January 8th. He was 66 years old.

Mr. Arp was born in Bennington, April 21, 1896 and moved with his parents to a farm north of Bennington when five years of age. Later the family moved to a farm near Kennard where he grew to manhood.

After serving his country in World War I, he was married to Meta Kahler, May 21, 1919. They settled on a farm near Kennard and made that place their home until his death.

He is survived by his wife, Meta, one son, Alvin of Griswold, Iowa, and a daughter, Mrs. Willie (Bernetta) Arp of Blair. There are five grandchildren.

A brother, Fritz Arp, lives at Fremont and a sister, Mrs. Albert Kuhr, is from Blair.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 11, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington and interment will be made in the Blair cemetery. The Hadan Mortuary of Bennington is in charge of

arrangements.
