LOYAL LOUDON DIED SUNDAY AT PLATTSMOUTH

Loyal Loudon, 79 years of age, a former Blair resident, died Sunday evening at Plattsmouth.

Mr. Loudon was born Nov. 5, 1882 at David City, Iowa, the son of the late Abner and Katherine Loudon. He moved to South Dakota with his parents, where he lived until 1942 when he moved to Blair.

Mr. Loudon married Grace Florene Kirk, May 11, 1915 at Fairfax, South Dakota. Mrs. Loudon died April 12, 1951.

He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Florence Klundt of Herrick, South Dakota; Mrs. Bernita Viles and Mrs. Ethel Sylvis, both of Blair; a son, James Loudon of Arlington; a sister, Mrs. Alma Anderson of Gregory, South Dakota; and 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements, which have not been completed.

LOYAL LOUDEN SERVICES WEDNESD’Y

Services were held Wednesday afternoon, June 27, at Blair’s Trinity Lutheran Church for Loyal Loudon, age 79 years. Mr. Loudon died Sunday at Plattsmouth. Rev. Norman Discher officiated at the services.

Mr. Loudon lived in Blair for many years, and was employed by the Utilities Department.

Burial was made at the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

The obituary appeared in the Monday, Pilot-Tribune.
