SERVICES HELD FOR G. AUBREY LOVE

George Aubrey Love, 84, of 1021 Fifth Ave. E., died Friday evening, March 22, 1985 at Mahaska County Hospital. He was born May 17, 1900 in Blair, Nebraska, the son of Joe and Mattie Stewart Love.

He married Lois Wentworth on June 27, 1937 in Ord, Nebraska. He received his Master’s degree from University of Nebraska. He taught school and was a superintendent for 20 years. In 1947 he started selling insurance for Northwestern Mutual.

He was a member of the Oskaloosa Rotary Club; a 40-year member of the Masonic Lodge; a member of the Kaaba Shrine Club; and a member of the Central United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lois; three brothers: Stewart of Sun City, Arizona; Ross of Blair, Nebraska; and Charles of Sacremento, California; three sisters: Mrs. Floyd (Gertrude) Trumble of Papillion, Nebraska; Mrs. Bill (Mary) Gleeson of Colexico, California; and Mrs. Clifford (Betty) Montgomery of Papillion.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mrs. Harold (Drusella) French.

Funeral services were held at Powers Fuenral Home with the Rev. Milo Morris officiating. Burial was at the Ord Cemetery in Ord, Nebraska.
