FRANCES MAY LOVE, 12

Mr. and Mrs. George Love were called to walk in the low, green valley where death lurks last Saturday morning. It was at 9:30 that the angel came and took their only daughter May, across the river where mortal man cannot go. She had been a sufferer from lesions of the heart since her birth but not until about a hear ago did she seem to fail. In the last few days of her life here, the heart became enlarged and there was no hope that she could live. Mr. and Mrs. Love did everything they knew to do; they had Dr. McClanahan up from Omaha to assist Dr. Nielsen & Killian, but he told them the bitter truth of the approaching end. The funeral was held at the Methodist Church at 1 o’clock Monday afternoon and was largely attended by the many friends of the family. Rev. W. H. Underwood conducted the service but the sermon was preached by Rev. Wm. Esplin, an old friend of the family, having been pastor at Rose Hill Church, near which the Love family lived for a good many years. Frances May was born July 10th, 1904, and was therefore 12 years of age last July. Her death leaves her father and mother an only child, Dale, 14 years of age. The sorrowing parents have the earnest sympathy of many friends.
