WIVES OF BROTHERS DIED WITHIN THREE HOURS OF EACH OTHER

The families of Gus and Gordon Lowe had double sorrow on Saturday, August 5th, when M. Eileeen Lowe and Evelyn Lowe died within three hours of each other. M. Eileen Lowe was the wife of A.H. “Gus” Lowe and Evelyn Lowe was the wife of Gordon Lowe. Both ladies died at the Blair Hospital.

Funeral services will both be held in Herman on Tuesday, August 8th. The service for Mrs. Gus Lowe will be at 2 p.m. in the Herman Legion Hall with Rev. Ralph Ford officiating. Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements with burial in the Herman Cemetery.

Services for Mrs. Gordon Lowe will be at 10 a.m on August 8th, in the Herman Baptist Church. Hamel and Peck are in charge of arrangements with burial in the Herman Cemetery.
