GORDON LOWE
Services for Gordon F. Lowe will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, at the Herman Baptist Church, with Rev. Larry Orvis officiating.
Lowe died Februrary 3, 1987 at Memorial Community Hospital, Blair.
Pallbearers will be Mack Cameron, Terry Cameron; Allen Larsen; Gordon A. Lowe; Michael Lowe; and Jeff Nelson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Andrew; Bob Brodersen; Vernon Clements; Clyde Eckel; Paul Hancock; Frank Korshoj; Clifford Larsen, and Wayne Loftis.
Lowe was born August 24, 1893 in Herman to Forrest and Bertha (Warner) Lowe.
He married Evelyn Thurston Hanson on August 22, 1916 in Newman Grove. They farmed south of Herman until Gordon’s retirement, at which time they moved to Herman.
He is survived by a brother, August (Gus) Lowe, Tekamah; nephews and nieces; grand-nephews and great-nieces; and great-great-nephews and great-great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Pearl Richter and two brothers, Stanley Lowe and Bert Lowe.
