HELEN T. LOWE, 94

Helen T. Lowe, 94, of Blair, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Helen Theresa Lowe was born Aug. 17, 1908 in Blair to Gus and Anna (Davis) Scheffler. She graduated from Blair High School in 1927. She also attended Dana College and the University of Omaha.

On Dec. 30, 1939, she married Wilber Lowe in Plattsmouth.

Mrs. Lowe worked at the Pilot-Tribune newspaper; R.B. Templeton Ford Dealer; and farmed with her husband in the Herman area.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church and the Eastern Star.

She is survived by a sister, Gussie Sick of Blair; nephews, Tom Sick, Jim Scheffler and Wilbur Conety, all of Blair; Gordy Sick of Omaha; Brian Conety of Herman; Russell Uehling of Fremont; Doug Uehling of Uehling; and Steve Uehling of Almena, Kan.; nieces Lois Johnson of Utah; Joan Lowe and Beverly Chess, both of Minneapolis, Minn.; and Adeline Clements of Washington.

Memorials are suggested to the Blair Rescue Squad.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
