Services for Lee Ann Arp, age 62 of Kennard, who died at her home December 28, 1994 will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 1994 at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard. A private graveside service will be held later.

Lee Ann Arp was born November 15, 1932 at North Bend, Nebraska to William and Alese Brandt Chapman. She moved to a farm north of Fremont with her family in 1939.

On February 3, 1951, she married Harry Arp in Fremont. They farmed north of Arlington until moving to their present farm in 1952.

She was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church, Red Cross Volunteer, a First Aid and CPR instructor and worked with Civil Defense on nuclear plant exercises.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Dennis Chapman and sister Catherine Chapman.

Surviving her in death are her husband, Harry; a son, Allan and wife, Susan Arp and a daughter, Kathy and husband, John Wirsen, all of Kennard; three grandchildren, Jason Arp, Michelle Arp, and Nathan Wirsen; two step-grandchildren and one brother, Kevin and wife, Maxine Chapman, Fremont, Nebraska.

Memorials may be directed to Emmaus Lutheran Church, Fremont Hospice or American Cancer Society.
