Mrs. Andrew Olson died at the home of her son, Fred, near Herman, last Saturday morning and the funeral was held at the house at 12 o'clock Monday, Rev. C.P. Lang, of this city, officiating.

Mrs. Olson was born in Sweden, July 25, 1839, and came to this country in June, 1868. Two years later she was married to Andrew Olson and of this union four children were born, three of whom are living; Mrs. Christina Anderson, of Omaha, Fred, of Herman, and Olaf, of Gorgona, Panama. Besides the husband she leaves four sisters, three of whom live in Sweden and Mrs. Christina Ruden lives in Knox county. She was a good wife, a kind and loving mother and a loyal friend.
