LE ROY W. LOYD, 65

LeRoy W. Loyd, 65, of Blair, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000 at his home in rural Blair.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Oct. 5, at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel. Interment was at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

LeRoy W. Loyd was born Jan. 27, 1935, in rural Missouri Valley to Freeman and Constance (Twomey) Loyd.

He graduated from Missouri Valley High School, and attended college for two years in Arizona.

Before retiring in 1995, he was employed as a plant supervisor at the Hershey Pasta Group in Omaha.

Mr. Loyd moved from Honey Creek, Iowa, to Blair in 1993.

He is survived by a son, Wayne Loyd and fiancée, Donna Blacketter of Omaha; son and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth and John Hoffman of Honey Creek; two grandchildren; three brothers, Eugene Loyd of Norfolk; Willard Loyd of Tempe, Ariz.; and Tom Loyd of Houston, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
