ARLINGTON MAN DIES LAST MONTH

Funeral services were Saturday, August 28, at First Lutheran Church in Fremont for Geryl G. Ludwig, 18, of Arlington who died August 26, 1982, at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County. He had a brain tumor and had been ill for eight months.

The Rev. Mark Grorud conducted the services. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery.

Geryl G. Ludwig was born September 20, 1963, in Fremont and lived in Arlington all his life. He was a 1981 graduate of Arlington High School and was a member of First Lutheran Church in Fremont.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Niebaum and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ludwig.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ludwig Jr., of Arlington; and brothers, John Ludwig of Chambers and Daniel Ludwig of Arlington.

Pallbearers were Douglas Reed, Brian Amundson, Scott Johnson, Kevin Arp, Don Oltjenbruns, and Dean Wheirly.

Honorary pallbearers were Albert Hammang, Nick Brown, David Mincer, Les Shallberg, John Dortch, and Rick Carson.

Mr. Paul Johnson was organist.

Memorials may be made to the church, the Arlington Rescue Squad, or the American Cancer Society.

Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont was in charge of arrangements for the services.
