THURSDAY FUNERAL SERVICES SET FOR HAZEL L. LUDWIG

Mrs. Hazel L. Ludwig died in Omaha at the age of 83. Services for Mrs. Ludwig will be held on Thursday, December 27th at the Arlington Community Church.

Mrs. Ludwig was born on February 18, 1896 at Arlington, Nebraska. She was married to Thurman B. spangler on February 28, 1918. He died on September 11, 1939.

Mrs. Ludwig was a school teacher before her marriage. She was also a telephone operator in Arlington.

On October 3, 1934, she married Raymond Ludwig. He died on January 3, 1955.

In 1976, she moved from Arlington to the Arbor Manor in Fremont.

Mrs. Ludwig was a member of the Arlington Community Church, The Circle, Serepta Chapter 48 of the Eastern Star, and the Arlington V.F.W. and American Legion Auxiliaries.

The Thursday service will be at 11 a.m. in the Arlington Community Church. Pastor Gerald Senn will officiate with burial in the Arlington Cemetery. Reckmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. Memorials can be directed to the Arlington Community Church.

Mrs. Ludwig is survived by two sons, three daughters, one sister, two brothers, fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The sons are Dr. Lauren Spangler, Arlington and Raymond Ludwig, Arlington. The daughters are: Mrs. Joan Kerkhoff, Rochester, Minnesota; Mrs. Ronald (June) Warder, Marshalltown, Iowa; and mrs. Darrel (Germaine) Johnson, Billings, Montana.

The brothers and sisters are: Mrs. Clarence (Viola) Norshov, Papillion, Nebraska; Leslie French, Arlington and Clarence French, Arlington.
