SERVICES FOR MATILDA LUEBKER WERE WEDNESDAY

Services for Matilda Luebker were held Wednesday, August 7th. Mrs. Luebker died on Monday, at the age of 86, in a Fremont Rest Home.

Private services were held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Bader-Ruzelick Lawson Fuenral Home in Fremont. Burial was in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery north of Arlington. Rev. Wayne Buskirk officiated.

Mrs. Luebker was born at Arlington and lived most of her life on a farm four miles northwest of Arlington. She was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Arlington.

She changed her name of Neiderhoefer to Luebker on February 23, 1911 when she married Edward Luebker. He preceded her in death on April 19, 1949.

She is survived by a son and two grandchildren. The son is Leonard of Arlington. The grandchildren are Mrs. Vernon (Ann Marie) Motes of Shreveport, Louisiana and Leonard the second, of Arlington.

SERVICES FOR MRS. LUEBKER WERE HELD

Mrs. Mathilda Luebker, 86, passed away Monday, Aug. 5, 1968 at a Fremont Rest Home. Mathilda (Neiderhoefer) Luebker was born May 14, 1882 and spent her entire life on a farm near Arlington, until entering a rest home several years ago, where she died following a lengthy illness.

Her husband, Edward Luebker, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son Leonard of Arlington and two grandchildren.

Private services were held Wednesday A.M. at the Bader-Rozanek-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel in Fremont with Rev. Wayne Buskirk officiating. Pallbearers were Leland Ruwe, August Ruwe, Herbert Franke, George Franke, William Popken and Fred Benjes.

Burial was in the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery at Fontanelle.
