FRED LUEDERS, 82

Services for Fred Lueders, 82 of San Benito, Texas who died October 25, 1992 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas will be Monday, November 2 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fremont. Rev. Timothy J. Gierke will officiate. Burial will be at St. Paul’s Cemetery at Arlington.

There will be no visitation.

Fred Lueders was born February 1, 1910 at Wayne, Nebraska. He lived in Omaha until moving to Arlington for a short time. He had lived in San Benito since 1983.

He was a retired meat cutter. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church at Harlingen and was a former member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at Fremont.

He married Lenora Laaker, formerly of Arlington October 3, 1981 at Lincoln.

He is survived by his wife, Lenora; a son Jerry K. Lueders of Brunswick, Nebraska; two step-sons, Duane Swanson of Walthill, Nebraska and Roland Laaker of Fort Worth, Texas; three step-daughters, Marge Stansberry of Walthill; Dorothy Renner of Gering, Nebraska; and Marilee (Mrs. James) Miller of Harlingen; a brother, William Lueders of Wayne; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorials may go to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 602 Morgan Blvd, Harlingen or the donor’s favorite charity.

Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
