Services for Willie A. Arp, 65, of Blair will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 14, 1987, at First Lutheran Church in Blair.

He died October 11, 1987, at Immanuel Medical Center, Omaha.

He was born November 15, 1921, at Wentdorf, Germany, to Ernest and Meta Arp.

They came to the United States when Willie was 7. He attended school in Washington and Bennington.

He married Bernette Arp on October 5, 1946, in Omaha.

They moved to a farm shortly after their marriage, and farmed in the Blair area his entire life.

He was on the Papio Natural Resources Board, Papio Valley Preservation Board, County Extension Board and president of the Farmers Mutual Insurance Company.

He is survived by wife Bernette, son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Bonnie Arp of Blair, daughter Diane Arp of Des Moines, Iowa, t wo grandsons Ryan and Jason Arp.
