Father of Blair Ladies Buried In Bennington

Mr. Otto Behrendt of Bennington passed away at the Blair Community Memorial Hospital Wednesday, June 26th, where he had been confined for three months.

He was born August 31st, 1883 in Germany where he was confirmed and came to the United States at the age of 14 to make his home with an aunt who lived near Bennington.

Survivors besides his wife, Meta, are three daughters, Mrs. Wayne Misfeldt (Elda) and Mrs. Richard Lamp (Roma) both of Blair and Mrs. Clarence Schneider (Ethel) of Bennington and a son, Art Behrendt of Omaha. Also eight grandchildren, four sisters, and 2 brothers.

The Haden-Golden Funeral Home at Bennington was in charge of arrangements and services were held in the Zion Lutheran Church near Bennington. Burial was in Flower Hill Cemetery.
