Duane D. Cox, 57, of Omaha, died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Duane D. Cox was born Aug. 13, 1948, in Omaha to Max and Mildred (Hollman) Cox. He graduated from Bennington High School.

On Jan. 2, 1970, he married Peggy Kracht at Bennington.

For the past 27 years, he was employed at Omaha Public Power District. He was a member of IBEW Union No. 763.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Melvin Thompson and Jolene and Kurt Hulsing; four grandchildren; father, Max Cox of Albion; brothers and sister-in-law, Daryl and Carole Cox of Omaha, and Tom of Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
