A memorial service for Rachel C. Craig, 79, of Blair, was held Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005, at the Blair Cemetery. Mrs. Craig died Sept. 15, 2005.

Rachel Cornelia Craig was born Oct. 1, 1925, in Blair to Glen and Minerva (Daniels) Salsbury. She attended Blair Schools and later married Don Craig. She was a housewife and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda Lou and Larry Ward of Herman, and son and daughter-in-law, Philip G. and Shirley Craig of Blair; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters Geraldine Petersen of Blair, Minerva Craig of Herman, Judith Wrich of Texas, and brother, Mike Salsbury of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don, in 1961, and a sister, Cora Metzler.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair was in charge of arrangements.
