Shirley J. Craig, 58, of Blair, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, in the emergency room at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 12, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

Shirley J. Tranmer was born June 27, 1951, in Tekamah to Oren and June (King) Tranmer.

On Aug. 15, 1966, she married Philip Craig in Blair.

She was an excellent mother and grandmother. She enjoyed baking, quilting, and Indian artifacts.

She is survived by her husband, Philip; son Philip Jr., of Pisgah, Iowa; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Bryan Muschall of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Dawn and Dan Whitbeck of Blair; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Lew and Cindy Tranmer, Dale Tranmer and Kent Tranmer, all of Tekamah, and Randy and Linda Tranmer of Papillion.
