ROY CREACH DIED HERE WEDNESDAY

Roy Creach, a long-time resident of Blair, died at the Blair Hospital last Wednesday, June 25th following a lingering illness. He had lived alone at 1054 South Street for many years following the death of his wife more than 20 years ago.

Ralph Leroy Creach was born at DeWitt, Nebraska, June 12, 1885, but had lived in Blair for more than 40 years.

As a younger man he was employed by the Nebraska-Iowa Supply Co. as an equipment installation and service man.

He had been a member of Blair Lodge No. 14, I.O.O.F. and was a Past Noble Grand of the Blair Lodge. He was also given a jewel for long-time membership a number of years ago.

There were no sons of daughters.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Belle Andersen, of Fremont, and by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home Saturday afternoon with the Rev. John Bauserman conducting the service. Pallbearers were all fellow lodge members and an Odd Fellows service was conducted at the graveside in the cemetery.
