Harvey Stubbs Dies At His Home April 12

Harvey Deil Stubbs, 55-year-old Blair man, died at his home in the Blair apartments Wednesday, April 12th. He was a machinist with Nebraska Engineering in Omaha.

The deceased was born June 1, 1922 at Ely, Nebraska. He was a veteran of the Armed Forces. His wife, the former Shirley Louise Yochum, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. William Betts, of Blair, and by a son, Russell Stubbs, also of Blair.

A brother, Ted Stubbs, lives at Rockford, Ill.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home. The Rev. John Petersen conducted the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bill Bolton, Mort Grover, Sid Haswell, Darrell Wiese, Merle Wiese and Vernon Wulf.
