Adolph Studeny 84

Services for Adolph Studeny, 84, who died February 19, 1991 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 22 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Celebrant will be Rev. Danial Galas. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

The rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Knights of Columbus services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Adolph Studeny was born February 8, 1907 at Verdigre, Nebraska to Frank and Antonette Maly Studeny. He grew up in the Verdigre area and lived there until 1936.

He moved to the state of Washington for one year and then moved to Colome, South Dakota. During these years he was in the farming business.

He married Mary Pesek June 14, 1938 in Colome, South Dakota. They moved to Blair in 1946.

In 1966, they moved to Denver, Colorado, returning to the Blair and Fremont area in 1976. He had been a resident of Good Shepherd Home in Blair since September, 1990.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Blair.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, of Blair; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marie and John Neuman of Herman and Betty and Darryl Madsen of Fremont; two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Margaret Studeny of Fremont and Ronald and Leslie Studeny of Arvada, Colorado. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one sister, Dorothy (Mrs. Fred) Gelster of West Point, Nebraska.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
