Mary A. Studeny, 77

Services for Mary A. Studeny, 77, of Blair, who died September 26, 1995 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 30 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

A Rosary will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, September 29 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

Mary A. Studeny was born March 10, 1918 at Herrick, South Dakota to Joseph and Mary Cahoy Pesek. She attended Colome High School in Colome, South Dakota.

She married Adolph in Colome June 14, 1938. They moved to Blair in 1945.

In 1966, they moved to Denver, Colorado, returning to Blair and the Fremont area in 1976. She had been a resident at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair since August of 1990.

She was a member of the Council of Catholic Women, Women’s Relief Corp., was a past member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont and St. Francis C.C. in Blair.

She had been employed by several nursing homes in Colorado and Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Adolph, in February, 1991; three brothers and one sister.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Marie and John Neuman, Herman and Betty and Darrel Madsen, Sr., of Fremont; two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Margaret of Fremont and Ronald and Leslie of Arvada, Colorado; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Maska of Winner, South Dakota and Anna Viktora of Fairfax, South Dakota; a sister and brother-in-law, Fred and Dorothy Gelster of West Point and several nieces and nephews.
