Harold Stuenkel, 81

Services for Harold Stuenkel, 81 of Fremont who died November 5, 1995 were Wednesday, November 8 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. Rev. Donald Levenhagen and Rev. David Loeschen officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery.

Harold Stuenkel was born January 30, 1914 on the family farm near Nickerson, Nebraska to August and Martha Lallman Stuenkel. He received his education in rural Nickerson schools and in Fremont.

He farmed the farm where he was born all his working years, retiring in 1975. He moved into Fremont in 1978.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. An avid bowler, he was inducted into the Fremont Bowler’s Hall of Fame in 1989.

He married Edith Christensen November 27, 1971.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer; three sisters: Loraine, Alice and Esther and by two nephews and two nieces.

He is survived by his wife, Edith and two sisters, Vera (Mrs. Soren) Nielsen of Fremont and Eleanor (Mrs. Dean) Kempcke of Omaha.

Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
