Paul Joel Krogh was born August 4, 1968 in Omaha, and became the son of Joan and Bob Krogh by adoption eight days later.

In later years, he liked to baffle new friends by saying his mother was playing the organ at church at the very time his was born. Joan happened to substitute that day for an organist, when at 10:35 AM---during the opening hymn---Paul made his appearance into the world.

He shared an ongoing interest in airplanes and travel with his friend and fellow classmate, Timmy Mann. They collected everything related to flying, including even some dishes. His first flight to California was at age three. In later years, he went on to visit some of the major sites in Mexico, Canada, Jordan, Israel, Egypt, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, England, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Canary Islands, Japan and Hong Kong, as well as the United States.
