Mr. Gerhart Micheel of Kennard died Monday, February 10th, at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital.

He was born in Kennard to Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Micheel on December 25, 1897 and was 71 years of age at the time of his death.

On February 23, 1938, he was married to Katherine Kuhl and they have lived on a farm southeast of Kennard all their married lives.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son William, a brother, Henry of Blair and five sisters: Mrs. Will Meeves (Amanda) of Bennington, Mrs. Meta Logemann of Omaha, Mrs. Leslie Offen (Olga) of Blair, Miss Greta Micheel and Miss Athalie Micheel.

The Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements and services are to be held at the Mortuary at 2 P. M. on Thursday, February 13th. The Rev. Robert Albers will officiate. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George Boock, Claus Wrigg, Arthur Wiese, Henry Wiese, Kenneth Jahnel and Ivan Andersen.
