Deloma I. Bair, age 92, of Modale, Iowa, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Deloma was born May 9, 1923 in Magnolia, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Marie (Donn) Gilmore. On June 29, 1940, she married Lloyd (Cub) Bair in Spencer, Iowa.

Deloma is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd; infant son Ronnie; parents: Charles and Marie Gilmore; brother: Dwight Gilmore; sister-in-law: Marie Gilmore Porter; nephew: Gary Gilmore.

Survivors include daughter: Shirley (LaVerne) Jackson of Mondamin, Iowa; daughter: Connie (Charles) Waite of Missouri Valley, Iowa; son: Bob (Lynetta) Bair of Blair, Nebraska; brother: Larry (Norma) Gilmore of Humphrey, Nebraska; eight grandchildren: Kim (Steve) Thayer of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Cory (Christy) Jackson of Missouri Valley, Iowa; Anna Marie (Allen) Andersen of Bloomfield, New Mexico; Christina (Keith) Sawhill of Dodge, Nebraska; Doug (Heather) Waite of Missouri Valley, Iowa; Courtney (John) Archer of Blair, Nebraska; Kiley Bair of Mondamin, Iowa; and Kevin Bair of Kansas City, Missouri; twenty great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held Monday, Aug. 24, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m., also at Hennessey Funeral Home.

Family would like memorials to go to Modale Fire Department and Mondamin Rescue Squad.
