Former Blairite Passes Away in Lincoln

Funeral services were held on Monday morning at Bethlehem Covenant Church near Waverly, for Linda Bell, 30, of Waverly, who died Friday following a lengthy bout with cancer. Mrs. Bell was the wife of Lloyd C. Bell, who was FFA advisor at B lair High School from 1972-1977 Linda worked at Blair and Omaha hospitals while living here.

Since leaving Blair, Linda had been a medical technologist at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Lincoln. She was a graduate of Waverly High School and Wesleyan University, was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, Bethlehem Covenant Church, was Parliamentarian of Lancaster County Medical Technologists, and was President-elect for next year of American Society of Clinical Pathologists.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fahleson of Lincoln; and sisters, Ginger Fahleson of Boise, Idaho and Diane Hill of Lincoln.

Roper and Son Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
