Services for Joseph J. Bena, 81, of Omaha were held March 15, 1996 at Roeder Mortuary Chapel in Omaha. Burial was at Forest Lawn Cemetery. He died March 1, 1996.

Joseph J. Bena was born April 27, 1914. He was a retired USDA meat inspector. He was a life member of V.F.W. Post No. 2503 and a member of American Legion Post 112.

Survivors include his wife, Laurene Bena; brothers Stanley and Ray Bena, both of Omaha; sisters Lillian Short of Blair, Helen Weber of Omaha and Evelyn Richling of Milligan and many nieces and nephews.

Roeder Mortuary in Omaha was in charge of arrangements.
