Mother of Mrs. Edgar Short Died At Age of 89

Funeral services were held Monday, June 16th at the Roeder Mortuary in Omaha for Mrs. Wm. Bena, age 89, a life-long resident of the Ponca Hills area.

Survivors are three sons, Stanley, Joe, and Ray, all of Omaha, and six daughters, Mrs. Al (Bessie) Pendl, Mrs. Lyman (Helen) Weber, Mrs. John (Madeline) Cloudt, all of Omaha, Mrs. Milo (Evelyn) Rischling of Milligan, Nebraska, Mrs. John (Janet) Cyronek of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Mrs. Edgar (Lillian) Short of Blair. Also one sister, Mrs. George (Helen) Sedlacek of Omaha, 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons and two daughters.

Pallbearers were sons-in-law, Al Pendl, Milo Rischling, John Cloudt, Lyman Weber, John Cyronek and Edgar Short.
