Mrs. Katie Kaer, oldest child of August Nelson, whose health has been poorly the year since suffering a paralytic stroke, passed away very suddenly last Wednesday at her home in Omaha, was buried here last Sunday morning from the M.E. Church.

Rev. Stoner preached a splendid sermon and spoke words of real comfort to the bereaved husband, father, brothers and sisters. Her brothers, E.C., C.H., G.H., W.M., and Chas. with her brother-in-law Merton Ward, were the bearers. The floral offerings were beautiful and so many. A large number of friends and relatives were present who accompanied the funeral party here from Omaha, also some from Irvington, Mr. and Mrs. Goldberg, of Fremont.

Mr. and Mrs. Kaer had no children, but her husband, father, sisters and brothers are left to mourn her death. the sympathy of a large circle of friends is extended the bereaved ones.

Mrs. Nels Kaer was buried in the Kennard Cemetery Sunday. She died very sudden at her home in Omaha on last Wednesday. Mrs. Kaer, was a daughter of August Nelsen of our town.
