Irvilla Bergschneider, 83

Services for Irvilla Bergschneider, age 83 of Blair who died June 7, 1992 at Good Shepherd Home will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, with burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

; Irvilla M. Jones was born May 5, 1909 at Hastings, Nebraska to D'Evereaux and Clara Wilson Jones. She graduated from Hastings High School prior to attending business college.

She married Kenneth W. Smith January 12, 1932. He preceded her in death in August of 1944.

On April 11, 1964 she married Henry Bergschneider. He died in August of 1990.

She served on the selective service board as clerk. From 1947 to 1960 she was clerk of district court and from 1960 to 1970 worked for the O'Hanlon Law Office.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouses, two sisters and one brother.

She is survived by four children, Connie (Mrs. Emmett) Vaughan, Iowa City, Iowa; David Allen Smith, Boonsboro, Maryland; Jack D. Smith, Harbor City, California and Ann Rossi, Stockton, California. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two sisters, Lorene Swatek, Omaha, Nebraska and Alyce Vaughn, Seaside, Oregon.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
