Funeral services were held Friday, May 8, 1981, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church for Pete A. Bermel, who died at the age of 84. Burial was in the Calvary Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Christina R. Bermel; two sons, Darrell Bermel and Bruce Bermel of Omaha; and one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Jeannine) Maguire of Blair. Two sisters, Mrs. Rose Jonas, Sr. Agatha; three brothers, George, Henry, and Aphonse; eight grandchildren; two great-granddaughters also survive him.

Dworak Mortuary was in charge of arrangements for the services.
