Services for Catherine "Babe" D. Olson of Lincoln and who died at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln May 25, 1991 formerly of Blair, were Tuesday, May 28 at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Rev. James McBride and Rev. Lou Degracia officiated. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Catherine D. Mehrens Olson was born July 9, 1915 in Osmond, Nebraska to Fred Mehrens and Katherine Goeres Mehrens. She attended school in the rural Osmond area.

She married Harold I. Bonneau August 28, 1938 in Yankton, South Dakota. He preceded her in death.

She married Clifford F. Olson February 21, 1951 in Schuyler, Nebraska. He preceded her in death in 1978.

She lived in the rural Blair area for 28 years. She moved to Lincoln, Nebraska shortly after the death of her husband to be near her daughter, Kay.

She was a member of the Bench Club and First Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Harold and Clifford; one brother and one sister.

She is survived by one daughter, Kay (Mrs. Hermann) Siegl of Lincoln; two grandsons; one brother, Peter Mehrens of Blair; one sister, Rosalia Bertwell of Sparks, Nevada; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Wayne Welty.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
