Funeral services for Clarence E. Olson of Tekamah, who died Monday, September 8, 1986, at his home, were held Wednesday, September 10, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Tekamah. Officiating the service was Rev. Marion Knoell, burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Olson was born on a farm south of Herman, on March 8, 1904, to Fred and Christine Olson. He married Myrtle McDonald on October 22, 1927.

Survivors include his wife; five sons, Lloyd, Carroll, Raymond "Rick," and Ronald all of Tekamah, Clarence Jr. "June" of Dakota City, and one daughter, Ann Warren of Blair; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Olson was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and three brothers.

Pallbearers were grandsons Dave Olson, Randy Olson, Mike Olson, Jim Olson, Mark Olson and Greg Warren.

Honorary pallbearers included grandsons Jeff Olson, Steve Olson, Gary Olson, Jon Olson, Mitch Olson, and Rob Olson.

He spent his entire life farming and raising livestock.

Organist was Mrs. Gertrude Sells and soloist was Janelle Clements.

Campbell Funeral Home of Blair was in charge of funeral arrangements.
