Rites For Mrs. Bendorf Wed.

Funeral services were held in Blair Wednesday for Mrs. M. R. Bendorf, former Blair woman, who died last Friday at Palo Alto, California.

Madeline Esther Triplett was born at Herman, Nebraska August 25, 1901. She moved to Blair with her parents when 12 years of age.

On November 26, 1926 she was married to Mathew R. Bendorf and for a time they were in business in Blair. They moved to Atlantic, Iowa where they lived for 25 years. Mr. Bendorf died May 31st of last year.

Mrs. Bendorf is survived by three sons. They are John of Sunnyvale, California; Robert of Palo Alto, California and William of Indianola, Iowa. A sister, Mrs. Fred Buyer, resides in Blair.

Funeral services were held at the First Methodist church in Blair with the Rev. Donald Springer conducting the services. Burial was made in the Blair cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home.

Pall bearers were William Christensen, Floyd Triplett, Gus Lowe, Walter Petersen, H. Lyle Guyer and Everette Lamb.
