Former Arlington Lady Died in a California Hospital

Word was received of the death of Mrs. Alice J. Berryman, age 69 years, May 23rd in a Fontana, Calif., hospital after a short illness. She was a native of Minnesota, resident of Yucaipa, Calif., at one time lived in Arlington.

Survivors all from California include three sons, Farrell of Simi Valley, Ivan R. Jr., of, Yucaipa and Donald D. of Calmesa; six daughters, Mrs. Mavis Anderson of Mission Hills, Mrs. Darlene Babcock of Glendale, Mrs. Hope DeSmith of Westchester, Mrs. Bonnie Burdett of Van Nuys, Mrs. Janet Melville of San Bernadino and Mrs. Sharon Wilds of Spokane, Washington.

Twenty-four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one brother, Dewey Day of Pinedale.

Services were held May 29th at the Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Yucaipa with burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, Calif.
