Died: August 29, 2015, Fort Calhoun, NE

Preceded in death by: father, William J. Stoutenborough, grandmother, Valleria Wittig, grandson, Oliver Michael Hobson.

Survived by: husband, Michael E. Hobson, son, Brian Hobson, daughter’s, Erin Hobson, Carrie Buckley and Jamie Hobson all of Fort Calhoun, NE, son, Troy (Brenna) Hobson of Omaha, NE, daughter, Jessica (Joshua) Freivald, Fort Calhoun, NE, mother, Shirley Stoutenborough, Decatur, IL, brothers, Mark (Debbie) Stoutenborough of Cabool, MO, Michael Stoutenborough of Decatur, IL, seven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015, also at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home. There will be a luncheon to follow the funeral service at the Fort Calhoun American Legion Post 348.

Forever the sunshine in our lives; a daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. Survived by husband Michael; children, Brian, Erin (Bob), Carrie, Jamie, Troy (Brenna), and Jessica (Josh); mother Shirley Stoutenborough; brothers, Mark (Deb), and Michael; seven grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by father William Stoutenborough, great-grandmother Valleria Wittig, and grandson Oliver Hobson.

SERVICE on September 3 with VIEWING at 6pm followed by SERVICE at 7pm, all at Sievers Sprick Funeral Home, 214 N. 14th St., Ft. Calhoun, NE 68023. Reception following at Ft. Calhoun American Legion, Post 348. Condolences: Mike Hobson, 7063 Lakota Ln., Ft. Calhoun, NE 68023.
