Margaret Berg Is Buried In Fremont

Funeral services for Margaret G. Berg, 90, were held Monday, August 20, 1979, at Bader-Rozanek-Lawson Funeral Home in Fremont. She died Friday, August 17, at the Fremont care Center after four years of failing health.

Rev. Don D. Ball of the Presbyterian Church in Fremont officiated at the Monday morning services. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

Margaret Guthmiller Berg was born January 9, 1889, in Tyndall, South Dakota. She had lived in Fremont since 1943, previously residing in Fairfax, South Dakota. She was a retired homemaker and lived at 337 West 6 Street, Fremont, before going to live at the Care Center. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Fremont.

Her husband, Chris Berg, preceded her in death on January 28, 1945, in Fremont. Her parents, two sons and two brothers also preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Helen) Brown of Blair. Four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren also survive her.

Bader-Rozanek-Lawson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements for the services.
